Maggie grew up in Westchester, Illinois, just west of Chicago. In 1991, she visited her aunt at the Lake of the Ozarks—and never looked back. While selling computer systems with her cousin Maggie met her future husband, Don Welch, during a network installation at his business, The Quail’s Nest Inn & Suites in Osage Beach. She moved onto the property and helped him manage the business—accumulating over 32 years of hospitality and service experience.

In that time, Maggie has become a go-to resource for all things Lake of the Ozarks. Whether it’s gathering the best info on local entertainment, dining, shopping, or outdoor activities to help their guests make the most of their visit—or working with countless business and civic organizations—Maggie has stayed deeply connected to the community.

One of her favorite sayings is: “We’ll have to find out what that’s about.” That curiosity has taken her to some unexpected places: from dusty courthouses in search of local history to wooded lots in pursuit of survey markers (and the occasional tick), and even into the lake with a measuring stick to check water depth.

Now, as a real estate professional, Maggie brings that same curiosity, dedication, and hands-on approach to assisting her clients. She understands that buying property is a big decision and is committed to helping people make the most informed choice possible.

“I work hard, I’m thorough, reliable, curious—and I really pay attention to what’s going on around the Lake,” she says.

If you’re looking for someone who knows the Lake of the Ozarks inside and out—and who will go the extra mile for you—Maggie is ready to help.
